FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EASTON, PA — The Pennsylvania Bus Association (PBA) is excited to announce a new name and expanded vision for one of its long-standing industry events. Beginning in 2027, the event formerly known as PBA Marketplace will officially become the PBA Group Travel Marketplace.
While the event will continue to provide the same valuable networking and business-building opportunities attendees have come to expect, the updated name better reflects the evolving focus of the program and the broad spectrum of travel industry partners who participate. The new branding shifts emphasis beyond traditional group leader participation and positions the event as a comprehensive gathering for motorcoach operators, destinations, attractions, hotels, tourism partners, and travel suppliers.
“The new name better captures what this event has become and where it is headed,” said Alison Sherman, Chair of the Marketplace Committee and a director on the PBA Board. “Our goal is to create meaningful business connections across all sectors of the group travel industry while continuing to maintain the relationships and opportunities attendees have always valued.”
PBA is also pleased to announce that the 2027 PBA Group Travel Marketplace will take place March 23–24, 2027, hosted by Discover Lancaster at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Known as one of the region’s premier destinations and home to the largest indoor sports complex in North America, Spooky Nook provides a dynamic setting for networking, appointments, and industry engagement.
“We are thrilled to partner with Discover Lancaster and bring the newly branded PBA Group Travel Marketplace to Spooky Nook,” said Pattie Cowley, Executive Director of PBA. “This event has always been about building relationships and creating opportunities. As our industry evolves, this updated identity gives us room to grow while staying true to the purpose and connections that have made Marketplace successful.”
Additional details, registration information, and program updates for the 2027 PBA Group Travel Marketplace will be announced in the coming months.
